Likoni Water Treatment
| Likoni area in Mombasa is inhabited by less privileged communities with little access to clean drinking water. Their main source of water was from shallow wells whose water is not fit for human consumption. GivePower designed a solar powered desalination plant and contracted Solargen to implement it. The plant has the capacity to produce 75M3 per day. This will greatly benefit the community in Likoni. |
