Food insecurity in Africa is prevalent despite the availability of ample arable land, surface and underground water as well as human capital. However, this is due to limited access to finance, agricultural technology, skilled labour, and access to markets.  Solargen technologies Limited has designed a solution that combines drip irrigation technology with solar power and PAYGO model for  farmers in pastoralist communities who are transitioning from livestock keeping to farming. We have also included skills training and access to market in our integrated solution for farmers by partnering with key players in these areas.

Our engineers will work with you throughout the project lifecycle providing fully integrated solar water pumping and irrigation systems. We have installed this system in 24 farms bringing 1,400 acres of land under irrigation that provides direct income for more than 700 families.
