CEFA Off-Grid System
| CEFA, an International NGO wanted to empower a farming community through value addition. They found a lady who has an oil processing plant producing sesame oil. She buys sesame oil from farmers in Jowhar. However, her biggest challenge was the cost of energy which was USD 1/kWh. CEFA contracted Solargen to design a solar system to power the small plant. The solar system runs the plant for 6 hours a day. |
